My apologies for the slow Friday. I have a lot of running around to do. Yesterday New Yorkers and Americans alike witnessed an event that was doomed for tragedy, but the resolve of the people created a truly outstanding scene. I'm sure you all know the story so we don't need to regurgitate the facts all over again. The amazing thing is that from lift off to touch down it was a matter of three minutes. The story does not end there. The pilots brilliant maneuvering to land the plane in the Hudson and not have it break apart was nothing short of miraculous. What happened after was a tale of preparation. The men and woman of New York, New Jersey and I'm sure the rest of the country have been training and running "simulation after simulation" for the past 8 years. Yesterday, they paid off. Can you believe that these people were almost all on dry land before the media even got there? Incredible. If there is one good thing we can take away from September the 11th, 2001 we witnessed it on January 15th, 2009. Rescuers, civilians, and passengers combined created a relatively calm, organized rescue. A plane fell out of the sky and there was not one casualty. My hat is off to the men and women that helped prevent this tragedy and it shows preparation truly does pay off.

Now to the good stuff. How long until PETA starts complaining about planes? Maybe a few of them even call for the passengers to have been injured more severely. How could you let a flock of Canadian Geese fly into your engine! United Airlines deserved what they got! Let me tell you something Fenimorons. When they do this, and they no doubt will. I will be here to slam them up and down the eastern sea board. Don't you worry...
