Bauer Hour! 1-4
***SPOILER ALERT***
Many people said to me "No way Tony is bad, you watch". So pat yourself on the back all you want, once you know a show tries to always throw curve balls, I'm more impressed when someone attacks a straight fast ball. It was pretty obvious he was a straight shooter when they captured him that early. It would have been pretty cool if he was the adversary through out the whole day. Who knows, maybe that's the 3-0 curveball we're waiting for. I'm down for a female President and all that, but this lady is annoying me already. You follow Palmer with Logan, younger Palmer and this chick? Come on. If we're lucky, the next season Kurtwood Smith (the guy holding the Senate hearing) will be El Presidente. How can you not love Red Forman as president? I can see it now. "Bauer if you don't get back here my foot will be so far up your ass!"
On the topic of our new President, the first Gentlemen story line I'm sure ties into the plot but it's really boring. Outside of his sons hot ass girlfriend, I don't like where that's going. Like, at all.
A friend texted me and said this season should be called "The CTU all stars". I like it. As much as I miss Michelle (Tony's dead woman) and at times despise Chloe, the show wouldn't be the same without her. The writers obviously fixed where they originally failed. People have time and emotion invested in a lot of these characters, killing them off? Fine, but when you throw a whole new cast at us we will feel empty. KIll them one at a time.
Speaking of people we don't know, it's time to mention two new characters. Billy Walsh from entourage is playing Billy Walsh computer nerd. It's the same character. I'm serious. Before we know it he's going to be calling the FBI director "Suit".
Janeane Garafolo? Really? It wouldn't shock me if she was the leak. That woman hates America almost as much as some Iranians. What is she doing on this show? If she injected her lips with any more crap, she would explode. I hope her character gets killed off next week. I will be calling for this every week until she is in fact snuffed out.
On a final note, this whole "operating outside of the government" thing with Bill, Chloe and Tony is cool and all, but come on. Where is the funding coming from? Not to mention this is a full day we're talking about. That's 24 hours. At what point do they take off their Blue Tooth head sets and charge them? Good blog. Few things to ponder.....
1) What do you think the possibility of George W. playing president next season? Im sure he is a huge fan and wont be doing much after he is out of office. That guy could create so many problems they can change the show to "72". Dislike the current president they have and think "W" could at least add some humor with all the drama going on in the show. He may not even realize he left office.
2) Is it just me, or is Billy Walsh kind of growing on you? Hated him on entourage but was pretty excited after an hour into the show and finally figuring out "that f@#$*ing Billy Walsh!", like I just won $10 on my scratch off.
3) FBI agent - she hot? still trying to figure that out 4 hours into 24, so leaning towards no.
4) Janeane Garafolo - agreed. Can not be killed quick enough. FBI can do it for all I care just for being ugly.
