A couple thoughts on my mind...
I don't want to get all political on here so I am going to put two stories in one. I know! Crazy.

WASHINGTON -- President-elect Barack Obama made no apologies Thursday for asking evangelical pastor Rick Warren to give the invocation at his inauguration, a move that infuriated gays angry at Warren's support for California's Proposition 8 banning gay marriage.
Here is the problem with Americans. Every four or eight years it happens to conservatives or liberals. You think this is you're guy? Wrong. Sure he may lean in your direction, but at the end of the day he will drop his ideals and do what all Presidents do. Govern from the middle. Sure, it will piss you off, it will annoy you to no end, and you may end hating "your boy" over it. But that's reality. Take W for example. He ran on being conservative. Him and the republicans spend like drunken sailors. So don't be too shocked when stuff like this happens.
Oh yeah, why are you so mad at this guy Warren? Or even Obama? The people voted it down. If you don't like living around people that are against you guys getting married, well then move to Washington. I'm sure they're cool with it.
BAGHDAD — The jailed journalist who threw his shoes at U.S. President George W. Bush has asked for a pardon, a spokesman for Iraq's prime minister said Thursday.

From the President elect to the actual President. I'm going to make myself very clear. If Iraq lets this guy go, they aren't ready to govern it themselves. Or maybe they are. I don't really care. I'm just looking for an excuse to blow the place off the map. Do you know it's illegal and you can go to jail for "talking" about killing the President in this country? Well there you go. That's just talk. What about throwing your shoes! I think we should just move the guy in gitmo. I mean, think about it. He is writing a letter to the Iraqi PM asking for a Pardon? If Saddam was still around he wouldn't dare write that letter. And if he did write it, Saddam would slit his throat and made his neck smile. Say what you want about the war. I could care less about all that crap. (Like where you stand, not about war, war is sad.) But it's ironic that this guy was throwing shoes at the same person that helped give him the freedom to actually have a shot to be pardoned.
