FOXNEWS: SPOKANE, Wash. —  A Washington state woman and her mother have been convicted in federal court on charges of sneaking a rhesus monkey into the United States from Thailand. Gypsy Lawson, 29, hid the sedated young rhesus macaque under her blouse, pretending to be pregnant when she successfully passed through U.S. Customs in Los Angeles after a trip to Bangkok. Her mother, Fran Ogren, 55, of Northport, Wash., also went on the trip in November 2007. The two women were found guilty Monday by a 12-member jury on separate charges of conspiracy and smuggling goods into the United States. Sentencing is set for March 3. The monkey is now at a primate rescue facility in Oregon.

Before Patrick Dempsey was McDreamy, McLovin, McDeuche, whatever his name is on that show and after he was Lover Boy he smuggled a monkey into this country and created an outbreak in two cities. If it wasn't for Dustin Hoffman and Cuba Gooding Jr. this whole country would be off the map. So I say throw the book at these women.

At first, I was wondering how this lady got caught. They don't tell you. She successfully passed through customs but somehow got caught? How?  Then I saw her name. Gypsy. All I can say is , I'm glad her mom is getting locked up too, because this is more her fault then Gypsy. She would have gotten through if she didn't have such a suspect name. Never trust a gypsy!
