Cancer to replace heart disease as #1 Killer. That can't be right?

ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN)
-- Twenty-seven million new cancer cases are expected by 2030, according to a report released Tuesday by the World Health Organization's cancer research agency. That compares to 12 million new cases in 2007, the report found. The group forecast a 1 percent increase globally each year, with emerging economies such as China, Russia and India being hit the hardest. The major culprit: tobacco. "About 1.3 billion people smoke globally, making tobacco the major avoidable cause of death and disease worldwide," the report found.Experts say less developed countries are especially vulnerable, predicting a 38 percent increase in those regions by 2030.

If this is true, one of two reasons can be deduced. One, the world is getting in shape and laying of their Big Macs. I doubt that. Two, cancer is running wild due to new technology. Never thought of that did you? Think about it. We have radio waves, tv waves, satellite waves and god news what the military is doing. All these waves being shot around you at all times has to create a problem. I know some scientist in a nerdy voice would say "These waves exist weather we use them or not Jimmy." Yeah, I know that. Thanks jack off. But we have all these devices that hone these waves and keep them around us at all times. Car radio, cell phone, tv sets, etc etc. Their should be funding to look into this. Which makes me wonder...

If this was proved to cure cancer I don't think people would care. People can't live without their radio and cell phones. I can see it now. "Cancer? Are you kidding? We have bigger things to worry about! Molly and Jeff are divorcing! I need my phone!" God I love priorities.
