Baseball Hot Stove: The Gut Check

- Now that C.C. is off the board, these free agents will fall like a house of cards.

- I don't think the Red Sox will match 8 years 20 million for Texiera. But he fits nicely there. My gut tells me somehow they work a deal out.

- I know Hank Steinbrenner said he wants Manny. Gut tells me the Dodgers will jump back in and land him.

- The speculation has been Lowe and Burnett, one of those two to the Yanks. My gut tells me it will be Ben Sheets. (Who when healthy I think is better then Sabathia. Get off me!)

- I think the Mets will land A.J. Burnett.

- Do we really think the Nationals are going to sign a big name? They keep throwing there hat in the ring but my gut tells me the only person they may land is Kyle Farnsworth.

- Check that. I hear KC wants Farnsworth.

- My gut tells me this chinamen the Red Sox signed will be dominant until July.

- Regardless of who Atlanta brings in, my gut tells me they will finish in third.

- Pedro will stay a met. My gut tells me so.

-Varitek will stay in Boston on a cheap, cheap two year deal. I feel it deep down in my gut.

- My gut is happy Toronto isn't throwing around money. What's the point?

- Sources say Mike Cameron will go to the Yankees. My gut could care less. Yanks have too many right handed bats.

- Your gut looks good. Do you use the Ab Flexer?

- The Red Sox have 0 interest in Andy Pettite.

- The Yankees will sign him.

-My gut is mucho hombre. Lunch time.

- It feels like old news already but I forgot to announce K-Rod! Well done Omar. That was a lot cheaper then it should have been.

-Oh yeah, in case you didn't get it. It's cool, it was pretty deep in there. The "Gut" check thing, thats for C.C.
