(CNN) -- A Pennsylvania teen has been charged as an adult for allegedly planning to kill classmates he did not like before turning the gun on himself in a high school shooting spree, a Pennsylvania prosecutor said Tuesday. Richard Yanis allegedly stole three handguns from his father and told police he planned to "shoot students in the school and then himself" at Pottstown High School, Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman said in a press release. Yanis, 15, was charged with attempted murder in adult court because juvenile law in Montgomery County excludes crimes committed with a deadly weapon, Ferman said. The investigation began when the teen's father reported that three handguns were stolen from a secured gun locker in his basement, Ferman said. His son allegedly took a Smith & Wesson .357 caliber revolver, a Smith & Wesson .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol and a Colt .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol, Ferman said. Richard Yanis gave the guns and ammunition to an unnamed friend from school and asked him to "hold onto it," the statement said. The friend allegedly showed his stepmother the guns, and the two drove to a nearby creek where they tossed in the weapons.

If you're 15 years old an you openly admit to the cops you were gonna kill kids at school and then kill yourself I don't think you should be charged as an adult. Considering this kid was probably tortured and tormented on a daily basis lets cut him some slack here. See, I have no sympathy for school shooters, so don't think I'm a card carrying member of the ACLU or something. But when we force these kids to go to school and put them in these awkward social situations where some thrive and others have an awful life, maybe we should chill out. Say your job sucks, on top of that, everyone at your job makes fun of you and pulls pranks on you every day. On the real bad days you get your ass whipped. Now lets say you can't quit that job. In fact, you have to stay there for the next ten years and deal with this. You know what? Grab a god damn gun. Sure, these kids are messed up. But it's the system that is even more broken. Sometimes you hear school officials say "We're preparing them for life". Take it from me, high school is nothing like real life. It's a fantasy land. 

I'm not saying you should go shoot up your high school. But grab a gun, take the bullets out. Find the people that screw with you the most. Scare them to death and make them piss their pants. Have someone videotape it and submit it to jimmyfenimore@gmail.com. That will be your equalizer. When millions of people see them piss their pants.
