Bear Grylls goes down! Bear Grylls goes down!

NEW YORK Fox —  Bear Grylls, rugged adventurer and star of the Discovery Channel's popular "Man vs. Wild" series, has been injured during an expedition in Antarctica, the network said. A fall resulted in a shoulder injury to Grylls, who is en route back home to Britain for medical treatment and assessment of the injury's severity, according to Discovery. He was not filming for Discovery, but instead was taking part in an independent expedition. The 34-year-old Grylls has hosted "Man vs. Wild," on which he strands himself in remote locations to demonstrate survival techniques, since November 2006.

Well, well, well. About time. Bear Grylls finally gets what's coming to him. I don't root for him to get hurt on that show, I just know it's going to happen. A lot like Steve Irwin. Hopefully Bear will get his act together and realize you can only "survive" so many times. Eventually it's either going to all catch up to him or he simply just "won't" survive.  He's nuts. We love how crazy he is. But I have said since I first saw the show I have a few places I'd like to drop him off at. How about downtown Detroit, Harlem, Compton, St. Louis, and Newark. I don't know how eating a beetle will help you there, but a cheeky Brit surviving in those places would make for great tv. "Ai, you must hike ya pants down and try to blend in." Oh man, this has to happen. What would we leave with him though? Sometimes he has a parachute, other times a crazy jacket. Maybe we give him a medieval sword. Get Nat Geo on the phone.

Oh yeah, mans man Bear Grylls did name his son Marmaduke. Just wanted to confirm that for you.

Blasphemy.... Take anyone from Harlem, Newark, etc and put them in the swamp in the Everglades. See how long they last. Better yet, do a 2 day blog from the Amazon and then talk. Show some respect.
