Airport security that can read your mind. There goes the neighborhood!

TEL AVIV, Israel (CNN)
-- Keep your shoes and belts on: Waiting in long airport security lines to pass through metal detectors may soon be a thing of the past. Security experts say focus is shifting from analyzing the content of carry-ons to analyzing the content of passengers' intentions and emotions. "We are seeing a needed paradigm shift when it comes to security," says Omer Laviv, CEO of ATHENA GS3, an Israeli-based security company. "This 'brain-fingerprinting,' or technology which checks for behavioral intent, is much more developed than we think."

Well fan-freakin-tastic. I don't know about you guys. But 90% of the time I don't know what's going on in my own head. How the hell are these people going to know? I've got a great idea, let's scrap the metal detectors and just let some machine pick out who has "harmful thoughts" in their head. Awesome. On the flip side, people thinks this will make things better and quicker. Wrong. I get angry and want to kill someone anytime I'm in the airport. And at JFK airport in New York, everyone in that place is out for blood. Could you imagine this system there? Every single person would be detained and cavity searched for the amount of anger they have. This is a top three worst idea I have ever heard. Am I shocked it's coming out of the middle east? Not really.
