Gay people attacking churches for voting no to marriage

In the nearly four weeks since Election Day, gay activists and thousands of their supporters have rallied outside Mormon temples around the country, protesting the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints' support for California's Proposition 8, the ballot initiative to make same-sex marriage illegal in the Golden State.

There have been calls to boycott the annual Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah; some activists have called for a boycott of the entire state of Utah. Protesters have defaced some church buildings, and in Arapaho County, Colo., the Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible hate crime — the torching of the Book of Mormon on a church's doorstep.

Well this is what I was afraid of. You know where I stand on gay marriage. I could honestly care less because I just barely believe in marriage to begin with. I don't want it to go down because of this exact scenario. Gay people, specifically men are so happy and care free. Throw the word marriage in there and they are attacking old ladies and defacing church property. I wish I didn't have to say I told you so, but I freaking told you so.

This got me thinking about how everything got started. There was definitely a couple at some point with one older wealthier gentlemen and his young, broke "artist". The younger guy probably had the idea of getting married so if they broke up he can get half of the other guys stuff. The rich guy was all for it knowing it would never come to fruition. It's kind of like when you invite a girl out with your friends because you know she has to work late and you really don't want her there. But you want the brownie points so you invite her anyway. Little did you know about her 72 vacation days she's been saving up for this very moment. You spend the next 48 hours explaining to your friends how the plan blew up in your face and "not to worry, she digs watching football and playing Xbox".

I want to meet that older man. I will bet a million bucks he voted against gay marriage, but to keep face he was the one spray painting churches. There's a screen play in there somewhere I think.
