CHICAGO —  FOX: Won't kiss on the first date? How about waiting until marriage? Chicagoans Melody LaLuz, 28, and Claudaniel Fabien, 30, shared their first kiss Saturday at the altar. The two teach abstinence at the city's public schools and practiced what they preached to their teenage students. The Chicago Tribune reports that the couple had never kissed and that they had never been alone together in a house. A friend of LaLuz says wedding guests cheered and stomped during the two-minute smooch. LaLuz and Fabien say they have no worries about how they will spend their honeymoon in the Bahamas.

We can look at this in many ways. First, kissing is boring. Sure it's fun sometimes. The first time you kiss a girl or guy you have been after for a while... fantastic. In a cab or movie theater, fun. Other then that, it's basically pre-heating the oven. So get over yourselves Fabien and LaLuz. (Just wanted a reason to write LaLuz). Another way to look at it is this, this marriage will not last. It's bad enough when you practice abstinence, but never kissing is a whole new ball game. Take it from me, if you and your partner don't "click", hit the bricks. 

Did I read this part right? They have never been alone in a house together? That can't be right. How do they know they're interesting? If they've never been a room together alone, they may be the most boring people on the planet, and they would have no idea. Something strange is going on here. I get the feeling we aren't getting the whole story. These people may very well be Scientologists. I just have a gut feeling.

Look, a persons relationship is their business. I don't want to tell them what to do. If they don't want to kiss, that's their prerogative. But if not kissing ever means at your wedding I have to sit through a 2 minute kiss, do yourself a favor and don't invite me. A wedding is a beautiful thing. When two souls decide to be united as one for eternity. Not soft core porn. These people should be locked up for indecent exposure.
