Dustin Pedroia wins MVP!

Congrats to Pedroia. This should be a wake up call to Boston fans. I know many of them feel it's them against the world. That some how the media and sports world alike want them off the main stage. Take it from a New Yorker. When you're on top, two things happen. One, fans from all over the planet come out of the wood work. Two, it seems like everyone hates you. You can't listen to Joe Buck because it always seems he's against you, ESPN talks crap about you, etc. That's really not the case. It just feels like that. The proof is in the pudding. I don't have a problem with Pedroia getting the honors, but know this. He won an award that Derek Jeter still hasn't won. Say what you want about Jeter, but there were a few years he could have won the award. Writers were more concerned with power then actual baseball stats. From that stand point, I'm glad Pedroia was recognized. I hope in the future now this trend will continue. Who knows, maybe we'll get a few pitchers in there too. I still think Brad Lidge should have won Cy Young, MVP, and come back player of the year for the national league.
