Craig and his list want credit cards for "Erotic service".

HARTFORD, Conn. —  Under the watchful eye of law enforcement in 40 states, Craigslist pledged Thursday to crack down on ads for prostitution on its Web sites.
As part of Craigslist's agreement with attorneys general around the country, anyone who posts an "erotic services" ad will be required to provide a working phone number and pay a fee with a valid credit card. The Web site will provide that information to law enforcement if subpoenaed.

Here's the problem with all of this. What if your a hooker? You can't get around this whole credit card thi- oh. That's why they're doing it? I don't really understand this credit card thing. Do I need a credit card when I call for a slap and tickle? Do they need a credit card? Do they just need one of those swipey things for the credit card? I'm seriously confused. I think that's intentional. Cops don't want to crack down on prostitution. Why would they? Whenever they have a boring night on the beat, they can always take a spin over to Hunts Point for a few laughs. Now I'm not accusing them of getting their freak on, but seriously, some of the girls hookin on street corners, they're pretty funny. The way they dress, talk, walk, and use fun props... it's like a female Carrot Top.

Let's say you're really getting an "exotic dancer" or a "date". You're not looking to get down and dirty, but you're interested in maybe getting a little dance in your Motel 6 while you're on business in Cleveland. If you need to use your credit card, you're a dead man. The wife will most certainly find out. That's why this is an all cash business. So if this thing is for real, with the credit cards and all. Thanks for sucking all the fun out of business trips.
