Guy bowls 300, then dies of heart attack
RAVENNA, Mich. (WZZM) - Teammates in his bowling league think after rolling a perfect 300 game Don Doane's heart just gave out.
"You get nervous shooting a 300," says teammate Todd Place. "The pressure keeps building," says bowling alley owner Jim Nutt. Minutes after achieving the life long goal of a perfect game the 62 year old bowler collapsed and died at Ravenna Bowl in Ravenna. "Don just collapsed," says alley owner Nutt. " At first we thought he just fainted." "Then when I rolled him over I realized it wasn't good," says teammate Place.
This is sad, so I can't joke about it too much. Could you imagine this though? Your whole life, all you want to do is bowl a 300, you do it, you die from it. It would be a lot worse if he sold his soul to the devil for this 300. You wouldn't even have time to enjoy it. Right after, down to the cellar. I always said, if I hit a hole in 1, I'm giving the game up right then and there. Will I live up that? Probably not. It's Friday, it's Halloween, I don't want to leave you on a sad note like that though. So here is a bowling story that may cheer you up...
