Politics aside, L.A. Times sucks
The Los Angeles Times is refusing to release a videotape that it says shows Barack Obama praising a Chicago professor who was an alleged mouthpiece for the Palestine Liberation Organization while it was a designated terrorist group in the 1970s and '80s.
According an LA Times article written by Peter Wallsten in April, Obama was a "friend and frequent dinner companion" of Rashid Khalidi, who from 1976 to1982 was reportedly a director of the official Palestinian press agency, WAFA, which was operating in exile from Beirut with the PLO.
Obama, McCain, who really cares. What pisses me off is these so called "News Papers". They aren't news, they're run a muck. Crap. This is why they are becoming obsolete. Sorry my friends who have read them since they were in the 6th grade. You can't hold information back from the people because you like the candidate? What kind of nonsense is that? If it was a tape of McCain, I'm sure you would be throwing it all over the place. Now keep in mind, this is the same newspaper that said Howard Stern was finished and had no listeners only a few weeks ago. That's why his wedding was reported on every damn news channel on the planet. I'm pretty sure Stern got a toast in Dubai.
Long story short, us blogs are no big deal. Most of us lie, some of us cheat, all of us steal. We don't hold information back though. That's why the web is getting more and more important to people. We take a stance on news like we do on terrorists. If you see something, say something.
