The sports update!
If we try real hard, we can do it!
-Can we stop saying the Rays are for real? An ALCS birth is enough proof for even the most pessimistic of people.
-Can we also stop assuming the Rays pitching will be dominant over the next 10 years? Remember the 2005 White Sox?
-Can we admit the Red Sox are better with Manny? They needed to trade him, but come on, let's not fool ourselves.
-Can we agree that if the Blue Jays really make a move towards Manny (they say they will), it will be a giant waste of money?
-Can we give Madden a trophy of "Big Brass Balls" for letting Price close out game 7 of the ALCS. Wow.
-Can we remember who won the NLCS? It was a long time ago.
-Can we send Steve Harvey hate mail? Or should it go to TBS? I say both.
-Can we face the facts; the Jets aren't as good as people want them to be.
-Can we understand the Chargers? No.
-Can we assume that if you claim Eli is better than Peyton, it's because Peyton sucks this year?
-Can we say without being fined by MLB that J.D. Drew did NOT swing at that pitch. Not even close.
-Can we remember the Yankees won 89 games without their real captain (Posada) and perennial 19 game winner Wang?
-Can we claim that Lou Pinella is not all that great? In 2001 and 2008 he had the best record in baseball and didn't reach the World Series.
-Can we be done with Michael Phelps already? Sheesh.
-Can we understand that despite all the sexy free agents, the best off season story will be with the Sox and Jason Varitek?
-Can we stop reporting every phone call Brett Favre makes? He has the right to use his anytime minutes however he so chooses.
-Can we convince MMA superstar Gina Carano to do playboy?
