You shut your mouth when you're talking to me!
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia - A couple in rural Cambodia has terminated their 18-year marriage with a divorce settlement that entailed sawing in two the wooden house they once shared, villagers said Friday. The husband, 42-year-old Moeun Sarim, has taken away with him all the bits and pieces of his half a house, said his 35-year-old wife, Vat Navy. Before you women get nutty about this man let me tell you this. They divorced because this lady was allegedly having an affair with a local cop. At first glance, you want to commend this guy for his spite. We don't like spiteful people, because usually they just cause a big uproar and then cave or compromise. Not this guy. You want half my crap? You got it. Good luck surviving a Hurricane with a gaping hole in the side of your house. (Does Cambodia have hurricanes?)
As I read this several times I realized as spiteful as this guy may be, it doesn't apply here as much as you may think. They live in Cambodia! He can probably use the wood and supplies from half the house to build a hut or something. It's not like the real estate market isn't going well so he can't get value on his house so he's just a prick about it. He took half the house with him! So for all of you worried about the economy, it hasn't really gone down the toilet until you are better off sawing your house in two to save the scraps.
