These girls are all the rage

You may have heard about this
. I didn't think it was that big of a deal, but it's all over the web now. So I thought you would enjoy it. I think it's a bunch of crap though.

- A performance during a Nacogdoches High School pep rally last month has created some controversy between students and the administration over the appropriateness of a skit that included the executions of rivals and toy guns.  Some students say the skit was inappropriate and are circulating a petition — which currently has 122 signatures — protesting "gun promotion" at pep rallies.

I know what you're thinking. Dorks. It gets better.

-Soon after, a petition "against gun promotion at pep rallies" was circulated, and an article and two editorials on the subject appeared in the student newspaper, The Dragon Echo. The editorial defending the skit, written by an NHS cheerleader, was published in its entirety. An editorial critical of the skit, written by two students, was edited — by Chaddick — to eliminate three paragraphs that questioned the administration's support for the skit. In addition, a news article detailing the skit as a whole was moved from the front page to the third page of the Echo, at Chaddick's direction, because he felt there were more important issues at hand.

The principal has been saying the whole time that this isn't a big deal and this shouldn't be on the front page of the school paper. He sites that there are people without homes and power from a recent hurricane. I do not like this Principal censoring the nerds though. That is not cool. Let them say and do whatever they want. The cheer leaders will get vengeance. Believe that.
Why is this top news? If you read the whole article I assure you, you will get this feeling. There's something this dude aint saying. I'm not accusing him of messing around with the cheer leaders, but something is fishy. I think these school paper nerds have been trying to get the best of the cheer leaders for a while. He uses words like "agenda", and for me that's a red flag. They are probably jealous school news paper girls and want to stick it the cool chicks. Whatever. Oldest story in the book. False sense of self importance vs false sense of popularity. We all know the cheer leaders will win though. Brandon wanted Kelly, not Andrea Zuckerman.
