This guy has 2 million in traffic tickets
A friend sent me this article. Had to share it with the people.(AP) Brazilian police reportedly have caught up with a motorist who owes the equivalent of nearly $2 million in unpaid traffic fines. Folha OnLine said police stopped a 36-year-old man on Wednesday night and discovered he has been ticketed nearly 1,000 times since 2001, the year he bought his current car.
This guy racked up 2 million in 7 years. That is impressive. I don't think I could do that if I tried. Sure, vehicular manslaughter is an option, but this guy didn't kill anyone. That would take all the honor out of it. The article later goes on to say that his car has been impounded and will be auctioned off if he can't come up with the bucks. The car is worth like 6 grand. This may be why South America is only a small step ahead of Africa. Here's an idea! You owe me 2 million smackers. How about I just take your car and sell it for 6 grand. That makes us even right?
