Bloomberg follows in Palpatines footsteps
New York you are on notice. Our city is being stolen from us while democracy is getting slaughtered. Legislation mysteriously started popping up this summer stating that the term limit for a NYC mayor could be extended. Coincidently, Bloomberg is reaching his two term limit this year. Interesting. Bloomberg said over the summer he would endorse such a law, but wouldn't run again. You know, being unethical and all. Now, he is seeking a third term do to the economic crisis that is NYC. I have to call BS here. What is he, the king of NY? First, he rides the coat tails of the republican party after 9/11. Then, as soon as he is re-elected he switches parties. Now he says he wouldn't run again, now he's running. This is how Hitler accumulated his power, by changing laws that suit him in office. That don't fly in New York. Whoever runs against this guy better win. In the words of the smoking hot Natalie Portman in Star Wars "So this is how democracy dies, with thunderous applause."
