This is what American politics is missing
BANGKOK (Reuters) - A publicity stunt by an underdog in the race to be governor of Bangkok went badly wrong when her campaign manager drowned as they bathed in a canal to highlight the plight of residents who have no access to clean water.
This is what we need. McCain says things like Obama voted against funding for better equipment to protect the troops? Well McCain should strap on some kevlar and take a bullet to the chest to prove his point. Obama thinks the inner cities need more education and not as strict laws? Obama should spend a night roaming the streets of South Boston. I don't know if either of the candidates claim anything like that, but it would work. Now that I think about it, they should do something similar to the Bangkok campaign manager. They should both swim the Hudson, whoever doesn't drown or come out with an extra limb wins the presidency. Knowing neither of them would be successful at this we would get the ticket we need.
