LONDON — A Swiss daredevil crossed the English Channel strapped to a homemade jet-propelled wing Friday, parachuting into a field near the white cliffs of Dover after a 10-minute solo flight.
Homemade jet-propelled wing?! That's a god damn stunt. Why couldn't we watch this? Instead, we are force fed a guy hanging upside down. What a joke. Bruce Wayne sleeps upside down. This got me thinking. When are we going to get our own jet packs. I know it seems irrational because your not going to go to the local market with something that shoots you around at 125 mph. Let's say the Yanks are up in Boston or the Jets are in Buffalo. I can check out away games whenever. It would take less time to get to them then driving to the Bronx. Long distance relationships? Not anymore. If I have an on the way baby with an anonymous 17 year old residing in a place like, oh let's say Wasilla Alaska. No problem. I can be there in a jiff. This needs to happen.
