Jaywalking: Poised for a comeback
Police cited a Boise man for jaywalking after he was hit by a car just after 1 p.m. Wednesday in front of The Grove Hotel at Capitol and Front streets.About time. I have been saying this since I could speak. I'm sick of politicians and police ignoring the constitution and laws they just don't like. The economy, teachers having sex with middle schoolers, and jaywalking are the biggest epidemic of our time. There haven't been problems like this in our great nation since Small Pox and Polio. Finally the fine people of Boise have had enough. Yield to pedestrians? F that. Jaywalking is a law for a reason and when you wander into traffic that's your fault, not mine. In todays world, I am changing the radio, messing with my ipod, texting, writing a blog, and sometimes playing X-Box while I am driving. I don't have the ability to watch out for people too. So if I hit you, that's your damn problem and be prepared to pay a hefty fine on top of those medical bills.
