700 Billion Smackers

You know how I don't like to get all political on here. This isn't meant to be. I have a big freaking problem with this though. 700 billion dollars? Are you kidding me? Scrooge McDuck doesn't have that kind of money. And that quack swims in his money! I really have two problems with this. The first being that we're bailing out people that firmly believe in Social Darwinism. "Only the strong survive! Well, unless I'm not one of the strong, then I will just ask my Uncle Sam for some bucks." These stuffed shirts would swoop in like a vulture and take advantage of this situation if they could. Now we're going to help them? That is my second point, WE'RE helping them. I don't know if you understand this, but the government doesn't have a job. Their income is really our income. So when they intend on "bailing out wall street" with 700 billion dollars, that's really our money. In fact, let's leave the government out of this. I am going to start a fund. Everyone send me 3-4 thousand dollars and I will just buy a ton of stocks. That's what it costs the American people. Over 3,000 bucks. When is it our responsibility to take care of businesses? I didn't know that was part of the job description. Here's an idea. The government stop paying for stupid stuff, lower taxes by about 25% and guess what, people have money again. Not even Scrooge McDuck would come up with a plan that complex.

Obviously a good sign when our government takes out a home equity line...............
