Reader E-mail; PETA at it again.
VERMONT -- People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sent a letter to Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, cofounders of Ben & Jerry's Homemade Inc., urging them to replace cow's milk they use in their ice cream products with human breast milk, according to a statement recently released by a PETA spokeswoman.
Here is my stance on PETA. I don't see a real difference with them and Al Queda. Sure they may not want to kill me (although that remains to be seen), they hate me for my freedom. That's right I said it. My freedom to eat a cow, scarf down a pig, and crack open some crab legs. This is why I was concerned with the whole Michael Vick dog fighting thing. It's the old saying, "give a mouse a cookie, he'll want a glass of milk." So fine, we throw Vick in jail for fighting dogs. Now these PETA people feel like they actually wield some power. So what do they do? They complain that we intentionally knock cows up so we can milk them and they don't like it. What is their solution? We intentionally knock women up and use their milk instead. Again Peta, well done! Let me make myself clear you border line terrorists. A lion will eat me, a bear will kill me, a shark may just swallow me whole. That makes the animal kingdom fair game for me. All this talk is making starving me! I'll be back later, I have to grab a burger or something.
