Big Bang Theory; Not Just Pissing Off the Religious

LONDON: Scientists working on to recreate forces that occurred immediately after the Big Bang, which created the world, have received death threats from critics who claim it could cause the end of the universe.
For those of you who don't already know some crazy europeans are planning to recreate the Big Bang theory. This experiment is to further our understanding of the universes creation. So far so good. Heres the kicker. Many scientists think this will create a mini black hole which will eventually suck the Earth into it destroying all of man kind as we know it. Wowsers. I don't think that is actually going to happen, but come on, if you did believe that to be the case you can't blame someone for a few harmless death threats! Think about it. We all rooted on Sarah Connor to rid the world of nuclear devastation. But what happened? Everyone in the movie called her a quack. We knew better. So maybe there is some truth to this story and these people are just trying to save the world. Either way I think a death threat is a pretty reserved action if they believe this will eventually suck us into a hole faster then a kielbasa down Kirstie Alley's gullet. The experiment is scheduled for today so we should know by nightfall if we're all moving to Mars or not...

Dear Jimmy,
One idea still being researched to this day about the big bang theory is whether or not the universe is expanding or contracting. If it is expanding, which many believe so due to how stars appear to be moving away from us, some say that it will reach a point in which it begins to contract upon itself. In the case of the contracting universe, the universe is and will continue to get smaller until it ceases to exist. Much of this research has been conducted by the in-depth analysis of light waves and the speed of light, which until proven otherwise, nothing can travel faster than light.
Yours truly,
Stephanie Fenimore
